  1. Thank you very much for this. I agre with the above poster in the evils sent here, but they appear to be one of religion in my eyes. Not race at all.

Let's also remember the thule people destroyed the norse and wiped out the dorset eskimo, the true first people of canada. While parading people in Zoo's is so utterly wrong, lets not forget that every race has it dark times. The genocide of the Dorset wasnt a great thing either.

Still a wonderful story. thank you.

  2. For a second time to listen on Ideas, CBC Radio, I'm moved to tears...I can't thank enough all who brought this story to light & I want to invite all my friends to listen. Such a powerful way to get across the message of cultural insensitivity (even violence) to awaken us to examine carefully our attitudes & actions today, in order not to continue further such actions. It could easily re-play annually for the un-preachy ways it simply tells it like it is. Many, many thanks! Karen Pidcock, Kaslo, BC

  3. I join this evening in listening and wishing someday that I could see Hebron; stand there, take pitures, and pray. I named my ASCAP company name for Hebron. The entire story seems so very intersting to me and sometimes I even obcess a bit.
